Overview

The problem and the direction

Challenge

Customers have little interest in purchasing these items because they do not understand the value of a crocheted bag and believe that these products are expensive and take a long time to produce and deliver.

Solution

Provide clear information about the production process for crochet bags and bring customers closer to the artisan, making the experience more transparent and intuitive to increase interest and facilitate the purchase.

Result

Customers come to understand the value and production process of crocheted bags, reducing the perception that they are expensive and time-consuming to make. This generates greater interest in purchasing the items, strengthens the connection between the customer and the artisan, and results in customer loyalty and a greater appreciation for handcrafted work.

persona

Julia

A young woman who is passionate about handbags loves to buy unique and one-of-a-kind styles. She would like to find a reliable store where she could buy one-of-a-kind pieces made by a artisan, but she feels the price is "too high for a handbag"

PROCESS

What was done

01

Research

I conducted interviews with users to identify the cause of the issue preventing them from completing purchases, and with the artisan to learn more about the brand and the product.

02

UX Design

I organized the insights I had gathered and developed a strategy to gain a clearer understanding of the problem I needed to solve.

03

UI Design

I designed an intuitive interface with personality, presenting information throughout the entire user flow to provide greater clarity and foster a closer connection between users and the artisan.

04

Test

I tested the new workflow with users and addressed any issues that arose.
